FAQ

What is The Garage?

We are a non-profit drop-in space for high school teens. We're a safe space to come hang out with friends, grab a cup of coffee and a snack, play a game, play music, watch TV, talk over homework, and much more!

Who can visit The Garage?

Who does The Garage serve?

High School-age students only! Besides staff, we try to limit the adult presence in the space, but are more than happy to talk with and give a brief tour to parents/guardians.

We serve all high school aged teens. Here, students are not only valued for their differences, but cherished for the unique history, beliefs, traditions, and perspectives they bring to The Garage. To that end, we work actively to connect all students so that every voice can be heard and appreciated. We value each person at The Garage, because respecting our differences and celebrating our diversity only serves to make us stronger as a community.

When is The Garage open for students?

During the School Year:
- Monday through Friday, 3-7pm

During School Breaks (Summer, Winter, Mid-Winter, & Spring Break):
- Monday through Friday, 12-6pm

Check out our social media pages or Google Business Listing for any changes!

What can teens do at The Garage?

Students have the freedom to decide what they'd like to do while they're here: - Listen to music, make some art, watch TV, read a book, play a video game, solve a puzzle, or play Foosball! - Students can make a reservation to meet with a counselor, book the conference room, or reserve our stage. All of our events are planned in collaboration with the students who wanted to make them happen! Let us know what event you'd like to see next!
